Not very chocolate

I was looking for an engagement ring and thought the idea of a chocolate ring was very fitting. I found this ring online and guess with Valentines day rushed a bit and ordered this ring.First, the ring is a decent looking ring. I read a few reviews of similar rings about a thin band. They are right, the band is a bit thin, but my main complaint is the stone color, it is no where near what is pictured. After trying to do some research, I find there are many shades of champagne diamonds, chocolate or brown is one of the darker shades. The item description lists minimum color as Brown. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I really liked the contrast in picture between the yellow gold and 'brown' of the diamond. The stone in my ring is almost same color as the gold band. Not the distinctive 'brown' or 'chocolate' shown in the picture, more of a generic off colored stone. I contacted the seller and was told they were sorry the stones are lighter than what was pictured and that they would be changing the picture. They also need to change the name from chocolate champagne to just a champagne diamond ring. No 'chocolate' color there.Secondly, READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CLOSELY, ESPECIALLY CLARITY.The clarity of the diamond on the ring I bought is rated between the two lowest categories on the scale. Its listed as such in the description. While I doubt I will ever look at this stone under a magnifying glass, The Clarity is a major factor of the overall quality and value of a diamond. Kind of scary thinking you are buying a stone that can have flaws that can be see by the unaided eye.One thing that is good if item description is accurate, is that the stone is natural and not heat or color treated, which I was told would make the stone more brittle. Since the color description is not accurate, I really hope the rest is accurate.Overall I don't know how competitively priced this ring is, but after seeing the color and finding out the clarity of the stone, I wish I had done more research, or read the description a bit more.Like I said overall not a bad looking ring, just not what I thought I was ordering.
